Andante and Hungarian Rondo Op. 35 – for Bassoon and Piano

$70.95

Carl Maria von Weber (1786-1826) wrote the original version of the Andante e Rondo Hungarian in 1809 for his brother Fritz, a violist. The arrangement for bassoon was carried out in 1813 at the request of the Munich bassoonist Georg Friedrich Brandt (1773-1836), to whom he dedicated his concerto in F major, op. 75. The bassoon version was able to assert itself in the long run and is an everlasting masterpiece for bassoon students and soloists.
