Friends of Mine – Trumpet and Piano

Six very different characters are depicted here. “Go Getter” is a straightforward no nonsense type who knows what he wants and how to get it. “Ten to the Dozen” describes one of those people who love to talk and don’t let you get a word in edgeways! “Easy going” takes life as it comes and drifts along with the tide. “Cheerful” is always happy whatever life throws at him. “In a Dream” prefers to let life pass her by without getting stressed. The final movement depicts a character who changes like the weather, quite unpredictably.

The pieces will suit players of around grade 5 standard.
