Written in an unusual 5/4 meter this classic standard was one of the first Jazz songs with a time signature other than the standard 4/4 beat or 3/4 waltz time. Composer Paul Desmond, who was Dave Brubeck’s alto saxophonist, named it Take Five for that very reason. This easy arrangement is about a Grade 2 level.
