The pieces, songs, duets and canons contained in this volume are intended as a booklet to accompany the first volume of the Horn School by M. Hoeltzel (ED 6912), but can also be used independently as a performance book for beginners.
The range is initially narrowly limited and only slowly increased until the end, so that the student gets his hands on musically enjoyable and technically relatively simple material, which, however, with all its hidden and open, smaller and larger pitfalls, always demands his full attention and wants to take him a step further in an entertaining way.
